Create a space

Creates a new space in the workspace with a display name and URL-friendly slug. Supply name and slug; the slug must be unique within the workspace and contain only alphanumeric characters and hyphens.

  • IdempotentThe SDK sends Idempotency-Key, so a retried request is only applied once.

Error handling

A 400 is returned when name or slug fails validation, or the slug is already in use. name and slug must each be 2–100 characters, and slug must contain only alphanumeric characters and hyphens. A 403 is returned when the authenticated user lacks Manage/Space workspace permission.
